Just saw this youtube video of a custom canvas/waterpoof bimini going 100 MPH !

Can you put the soft top on without taking it off?
I'm impressed otherwise.

I got some cheap one off of eBay and it has held up great even at highway speeds. Can still pull back my soft top. Although mine is for a 2 door

I drive around with a GearShade, have hit at least 70/75 and no problems so far two summers in.

Does the GearShade have full sun protection, or is it just mesh? I think these are waterproof canvas, so full sun blockage and rain blockage. Basically a 90% coverage soft-top.

I often run with just my Trektop top piece on, which makes that bimini a bit redundant for me, but that's a sweet option for hard top owners.

Guess not? :) Video shows 100mph on dash, although maybe it's possible he's done some forscan stuff or something.

Speedos are notorious for being optimistic they always read high.

I've done the ton once. I thought most modern Fords are capped at 105?

My speedo was off by about 2 mph high at 60mph on stock tires and is now 1 mph low on 35s, GPS checked.

Speedos are notorious for being optimistic they always read high.

That is 100% true. I have one of those speed cameras with a "your speed" sign near my house, and in order to be doing 35mph on the sign I have to set my cruise control to 36.

That being said, you'd think if there was a governor in the software it would base its functionality on interpreted speed within the system rather than actual ground speed based on GPS or something right? That would be overly complicated and unnecessarily complex and I can't imagine Ford spending EXTRA money to have a more accurate governor in there. That would be funny though.

It was posted here that the speed was limited to under 100.Not debating this,just find it odd that someone is going faster than what was posted, Is the speedo right and Ford wrong etc. Just looking for the truth.

Probably need a GPS tracker to be certain or a speeding ticket from the local po-po, hahahahaha.

This actually is a plus in my book. They don't waste time and money on fancy design for their website - they just make a good product and are a person who knows how to make actual things rather than push pixels. I'm in.
