Today while reading this forum another Bronco member mentioned his mustang. Multiple people I know on here have a couple ponies to ride. I figure Several people have more than one horse with the Ford brand in the stable.
Ford made these two machines for fun, and a way of life. We have so many accessories for them.
Let's see your corral.

I like to get the setup as close to how I want to use it. So for me, out of the box..... Badlands sasquatch. Add an air compressor and cooler then hit the trails.
Shelby GT500. Add a helmet and high temp brake fluid and hit the track.

Fun fact, the Shelby has wider tires!

I would also like to point out that when it comes to classic icons.. um...2 door

I had a 2001 F250 with the V10 I loved that thing. One of the only vehicles I ever regretted getting rid of. Needed more interior space so traded it in on a Suburban. Then I got the 04 with the mighty 6.0 powerstoke, which was a great motor when it ran, now she has a 5.9 p-pumped 12v Cummins, mated to a very built 47RH. Did the conversion way back when the ford trannys just were not playing nicely with the controllers like they do now.

Shame about the 6.0 Powerstroke. We have a 2018, 6.7 Powerstroke (as you say they work better) and it has run flawlessly. We have towed a 28 ft and 33 ft Airstream across Canada and the U.S. multiple times and pulling 8000 lbs with a truck designed to pull 15,000.00 pounds is a delight. As well, having an engine brake is real nice. We pull a horse trailer with it every now and then.

I had a 2001 F350 V10 that I added a Paxton supercharger to the first month of it's life. Better mpg, tons of power. Loved it.
Then premium fuel went from 97 to 94 octane. Paxton sold and I couldn't get it tuned right. Spark knock and blowers don't work. It ate a piston.
That is why I like out of the box performance on the new vehicles.
My daily driver is a F350 crew cab diesel dually and the only mods are mudflaps and camper tie downs. My truck just does so many things and so easy (except drive thru's and park)

I've always wanted a dually. No need for one but would like one anyway...haha...I guess you don't need a race car either. But that may be wrong for those of you with performance cars....they are needed....just like my soul needs to be on a bike.

Oh, go ahead and get one, its a great way to wear out 6 tires instead of just 4. Go big or go home.

I tow different things for work and fun. I also have a cab over camper. My 2001 V10 was a single rear wheel 350. The stability is night and day. Never going back. I never have to wonder if it can tow it. This one is a 17 and has 193,000 miles now. My new one was born/built the day before we left for Moab. And Ford emailed me today and said it on its way!

Yup, they do look nice under the hood.
I love the looks of the vintage FE big block. When my 428 expired it became garage art. Dressed and on an engine stand.
This is the new one. Aluminum 427 side oiler on the Dyno.

Your car says it. Life's to short to drive boring cars (or bikes). The bronco is not boring.
Yeah , I love the classics. No plastic and wires everywhere. The old GT500s with the side-oiler with an engine, battery and radiator basically that's all that's there. Lots of room to work under there too.

Meet my 2015 50th Year Special Limited Addition #340 of 1964, only came in two colors (Wimbledon White or Kona Blue). Only other option was an automatic or a 6 speed manual (Fiona is a manual). 22 Wildtrak in Eurption Green, I ordered her day 1 and it took 18 months to get her and it was worth the wait! I love having two Ponies in the Stable.

A very nice team you have. I like rowing gears in my Shelby. Please, toss in a couple more pictures of Fiona showing any of the 50th year easter eggs. Wimbledon white is a biggie.

I have no pony car since I sold my 68 in 2014. But I do have Wimbeldon white and it won best truck 1955 to current at the International Mustang and FORD powered meet in 2019. Does that count for anything?

It qualifies because it's very cool. And I must admit, if i could only have one vehicle, it would be my pickup.
what year? 360 or 390? With two tanks I wouldn't think the 300 CID 6.

Can you take the holiday inn sign off?

460 Auto no radio and no AC. Speed control Marti report says it's a one of one. 1975 Camper Special. Ginger interior. This is original paint, trim and interior. The bed is almost as nice as the exterior.

Love it.
Reminded me of a story. I started as a mechanic out of high school back in 76. Stayed in the auto repair industry for over 20 years before changing to construction.
I recall a similar truck, with the 460 came in and the owner said since new it never had good oil pressure. The dealer said it was okay and now that it was out of warranty, he wanted our shop to fix it. When we pulled the oil pan, there was a sandwich wrapped in wax paper up against the pickup screen. Took the sandwich out and problem solved.

that is a very cool truck

I just put new tires and rims on it (yesterday), I saved the original Pzero track tires and stock rims. I'm going to be driving the Stang a lot more since my wife is now commandeering my Wildtrak, she just turned in her 4 year old Merc GL300 with less than 12K on the odometer. Proves she did not need a car. Pzero's are rated for Sunshine only, wet or cold roads are like ice skating.

Here a link to an informative article about the 50 Year Anniversary Special Edition: www.mustangspecs.com/2015-ford-mustang-gt-50-year-limited/

I purchased my Stang from the original owner's wife in 2018 in Louisville, KY and drove it back home across country. He had recently passed away. Got all kinda goodies with it, I have scrap book of everything from when he bought it all the way down to the sold sticker hanging from the rear view mirror.

Couple if nuggets:
Throw back grill wings like on the 1964
Layered glass quarter-windows look like louvers
Factory Brimbo Brakes (Front only)
Dash Plaque
Heated and Cooled Seats
Interior is Black and Ivory (that is what got my attention)
6 speed manual
Factory tuned at 435 HP
Electronic Line Locks
Sandwich Board for car shows

Yup, that's a full stable.
My first mustang was a 1972. Some don't count the 71-73 mustangs as mustangs.
My first bronco is a 93.
So I'm only 2+2. Hey that's a mustang!

I need to see that. Thanks, I don't think I ever heard of that place.
I did go to a Shelby event at Sonoma. Fun track. Lots of elevation changes.
Took the week to travel the Western coast line and parts of Cali. And decided to swing by the DenBeste shop yesterday. Here is a photo to give you an idea of some of the fun to be had. The cars on the wall are bodied rolling chassis of legit Shelby Cobras, the actual CSX cars. 'Ol Shelby figured out years ago that if he separated his holdings, operations, and partnerships he could legally sell real Cobras as rolling chassis with bodies and engines separately and not have DOT requirements of "smashing perfectly good cars" into walls for crash tests. You can also get Shelby blueprinted Ford crate motors, including 427 side oilers, and if wanted you can option them with Powered by Shelby valve covers. If you ever swing by, the outside is very unassuming and will look like you're in the wrong place except you will see these trailers for the Shelby Nascars outside.
