    JWalks Take on the draft

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh its about time we drafted high on talent and high on character, We bring in some great talent and great character guys, Love the pick with CLady, Gotta protect your franchise QB blind side with a franchise LT who will be a pro bowler for years, Loved the Royal pick he gives us that explosive play maker whohas a chance to score anytime he touches the ball being on special teams or In the slot at WR. Then we go and get Nalens replacement/ a guy who can play guard who should be a starter at either position sooner or later. We go and get Jack WIlliams to groom for a year and to help with special teams right away because hes such a physical fast player. And either foxworth or paymah is leaving next year so were gonna need to replace atleast one of them. Carlton Powell gives us depth and a pass rushing DT...We all know our DT situation right about now but its starting to shape  up now. Spencer Larson= STUDDDD$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ this guy is gonna start from day 1, Sorry Niko if you came here to start but you will be back dominating special teams in Denver. Love the Larson pick, Great value for where we got him at. Josh Barret= all potential and upside in the world, Will he work hard and show it? Remains to be seen but i like the pick and value for where we took him at, He has the size speed and physical tools u look for in a great FS. Peyton hills= Chris Cooley type, Loved that pick, Gives us a FB who can actually run and catch the ball and line up all over the field. So i give our draft a B+. JDubb has spoken.

Powell is interesting. Will he be a run stopper and used on goal line, short yardage plays right off the bat?

Just my opinion, but I only like the Clady and Hill picks. The rest seem like either gambles or camp foder.

Solid draft overall.  Hopefully is all he is cracked up to be.  Royal will present mismatches, is very strong and will help the return game.  He'll be a better pro than DeSean Jackson.  He's not frail...quite string actually...he's not an *** and his receiving numbers are misleading since he had no QB to speak of tossing him the rock.

The Center will be developed til Nalen is ready to go.  He's a solid player.  Cs rarely go too early so the location of teh pick shouldn't be a concern.

Jack Williams may be small, but he can make some plays.  We need another CB as Paymah and Foxxy are FAs to be and Bly's contract number keeps rising.  Woulds preferred Orlando Scandrick as a CB/S tweener, but we got our S later on.

You have to be uber-impressed w/ Powell's run defense numbers.  A negative yards against average is incredible.  He can play run downs w/ Crowder as his DE and Crowder can be moved inside on pass downs to get Moss/Elvis into the game.

I like the Larsen pick for ST play and MLB depth.

I hate the pick of Torain as he simply does not stay healthy.

Hillis will be a perfect fit for what we liek to do.   His Sun Devil teammate in the secondary has STUD written all over him if he gets the fire.

Overall...not sexy, but it could go a long way in solidifying the overall quality and depth of this team.  I liked it.
